"Swimmers on the shore" was part of Marie Matusz' solo exhibition "Prequel" at Blue Velvet Projects in 2023. The polaroid shows the creative spectrum and versatility in which Marie executes her conceptual approach.
About the Artist
Marie Matusz (b. 1994) is a young Swiss artist who lives and works in Basel and Berlin. Marie's work is conceptual, her practice is the result of a critical engagement with forms and their inherent meanings, evolved through research into a variety of philosophical, sociological, and linguistic theories. In 2021, Marie won the prestigious Swiss Art Awards and had numerous solo shows already, both in Switzerland and international.
